Congratulations to Panth Doshi and Madison Bates who both won Best Presentation at the VCU Undergraduate Research Symposium today!! They both did a great job presenting their work and answering questions.
We are excited to announce Dr. Puetzer has been accepted as an NIH Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Engineering Career Development Program (IREK12) scholar. The program's goal is to support and mentor junior faculty interested in developing careers based in rehabilitation research. Specifically, this program will provide funding and mentorship for the Puetzer lab to take their research in how mechanical forces guide cells to create the underlying structure of tendons and ligaments, and apply that research to physical therapy to help with regeneration and repair of torn ligaments and tendons throughout the body.
